Granted, Syracuse center Fab Melo had to stay behind to address academic issues, and another player, Mookie Jones, left the team due to personal issues, but kudos are still well-deserved by the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish for knocking off the #1 Orange 67-58 tonight in South Bend, Indiana! Mike Brey is a heckuva coach, and he's done an outstanding job with a team that saw Tim Abromaitis's ligament of anterior cruciateness tear over the Turkey Day break during practice.
